I am a director and storyteller interested in stories about community, language, and identity. Focusing on minimal gestures that invite the imagination and epic worlds that incite creativity, my work is agile and centered on our shared humanity. I began practicing theatre at a young age when my family would converge in the kitchen and tell stories for hours on end. Laughter, awe, and house parties were the kindling that lit my creative fire. As a Tejano, I am proud that my culture is an intersection of so many histories and I strive to hold space for similar exchanges in the rooms I lead. I am also a proud associate member of SDC.
